Account Opening

There are two types of trading account; Post-Paid account and Pre-Paid account

There are several differences between Post-Paid account and Pre-Paid account as the followings:
• Post-Paid account requires 20% collateral to support purchasing power. Cash and stocks can be accepted as collateral. While Pre-Paid account requires 100% cash collateral.
• As Post-Paid account has a trading limit and according to 20% collateral that must have been deposited prior to trade, therefore clients cannot trade over the trading limit which is considered from their financial statements presented together with investment capabilities. Meanwhile Pre-Paid account has non-preset purchasing power. Purchasing power depends on the line available (net cash after the executions).
• The settlement under Post-Paid account will be debited/credited from/to client’s bank account by Automatic Transfer System – ATS on T+2 (two working days) but the settlement under Pre-Paid account will be debited/credited from/to client’s cash balance at Phatra on T+2 (two working days).

Upon receipt of the complete application package, your application will be processed within 3 to 5 business days. Your account number will then be sent via registered mail.

After depositing funds to your trading account, we will add your Credit limit and Line available up. As soon as the amount in Credit limit and Line available are increased, you are ready to experience our online trading services and place orders online right away.

Account Details

Generally, the commission rate of Online Trading are 0.15% for Equity Account (Pre-Paid) or 0.20% for Equity Account (Post-Paid) if orders are executed from clients’ own PC terminal. However, if you can’t place the orders by yourself during the market opening period, our Financial Solution Center is available to place your orders but the commission rate at 0.25% will be charged. Just call 02 305 9559 for any assistance from Financial Solution Center .

In some stock activities, there are operation charges being charged for each activity as follows:

Penalty charge 1,000 Baht/day and Interest Rate charge 18% per annum.

Yes, your cash balance will gain interest on daily calculation basis, and will be paid on half year basis. The credited interest is subject to applicable withholding tax of which the company needs to withhold and deliver to the Revenue Department.

Account Management

You are required to put the Username and Password for your identity verification.

After you have login and input an order, you must enter the PIN ID to re-confirm your instruction.

To change password, you may simply go to Change Password / PIN ID under Client Service - Account Setting section after login. Please be reminded not to tell anyone your password to protect your information and for account security.

You should contact Financial Solution Center at 0 2-305 9559 immediately if you forgot your password or PIN ID. We will re-issue the password and PIN ID for you after your identity verification. You are highly recommended to change your password and PIN ID right away after receiving the new one from us and on a regular basis.

You have to contact Financial Solution Center to reset your password. We will reset and inform new password to you after identity verification. For account security, you must change your password immediately at the first log-in after the reset.

Securities Deposit Withdrawal and Transfer

We can process the deposit of Securities Certificate for the client only if the securities certificate appears the name of the client or the name of the client appeared as the ultimate transferee resulted from the signing endorsement transfer. Where the ultimate transferee is not in the name of the client, We reserves the right to reject the deposit of securities certificate into the securities account with us.

1. In case of the transferor and transferee are the clients of Phatra.
Document: A copy of ID card with certified true copy of transferor and/or transferee.

2. In case of one of the transferor or transferee is not the client of Phatra.
Document: An ID Card and copy of ID card.

3.In case of many transferor and transferee.
Document: submit documents in accordance with 1 or 2 in every sequence depend on condition that TSD not yet been endorsed.

Phatra can process the withdrawal and issuance of Securities Certificate only if the Securities Certificate is to be issued in the name of the client. Phatra will not issue Securities Certificate in the name of third party. Client will receive the certificate after the completion of shares withdrawal process within 30 days.

We can process client instruction to transfer securities to other brokers in scripless system only transfer to the securities account of the client or married spouse or children lawfully of such client.
In other cases, client can process the securities transfer by making the request to withdraw and to issue securities certificate in the name of the client, and signing endorsement transfer to the transferee.

We can process the transfer of securities from or to the Issuer Account with TSD (Account 600) only if the name of the transferor is the same as the account owner.

Trading

You don’t have to cancel queuing orders by yourself. At the market closed, every transaction that has not been executed will be cancelled automatically at the day-end. Those orders can’t be postponed to the next working day.

You can place the orders even though the market is closed. The orders will be held in our system and will be automatically sent to SET to get in queue and execute on the next working day.
